The Sharewire mobile solution consists of three core elements that work seemlessly together to provide a best of class user experience, as well as to ensure smooth business operation, with zero impact on existing IT infrastructures.
Sharewire knows what works for which device, and for what type of content and project. And we hardly ever start from scratch; we have white-labeled interfaces for most types of projects. Once we've set up the Translator (see below), all different interfaces can be connected easily. And we know they work, because we've used them for similar projects. Proven technology, that's what we like.
Application. Quick and easy access to content with succesful distribution channels, like iTunes (AppStore), Android store. Especially for Apple's iPhone and Google's Android this often is the way to deploy your content. Sharewire develops applications for: iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Android and generic J2ME.
Mobile website. When an end user connects to the mobile website of our client, the device is recognized and the content and xHTML is adjusted automatically, ensuring the best possible user experience on all devices. Our clients can change content and the layout of their mobile sites with our SiteBuilder.
Most projects we deploy rely on "external" content, i.e. content that is hosted by our clients or a third party. However, deploying this content on mobile devices is a different cup of tea altogether.
Therefore, Sharewire introduces a "Translator" mechanism. The concept: we retrieve the content from its original source, transcode the content to all possible mobile formats and cache the converted content for future requests. The source basically can be anything: XML, RSS or even HTML pages. We also convert video content on the fly from any format to all mobile formats (streaming, progressive download, download).
Every week, Sharewire sends a complete pdf report, which includes all usage data, both textual and graphical. The report also includes iTunes (AppStore) information, i.e. number of downloads / purchases per country and new reviews. Our clients receive an account for the Reporting environment where live statistics can be downloaded in HTML or CVS formats, so they can be integrated with third-party reporting tools.
