Managing Director, Founder
Wentholt (1971) joined the Research & Development Dpt. of Planet Internet in the early Internet days (1994-1997). In 1997 Ivo Wentholt joined the Management of Lost Boys interactive as Director Online Services where he stayed until end 2000. In this period his department grew to 40 people. Ivo founded Sharewire late 2003.
Mr. Ton aan de Stegge is one of the leading captains of industry in The Netherlands. He started his career at the ICT company Volmac, continuing his career in 1997 as the President and CEO of Ericsson The Netherlands. In 1999 he became the CEO of Telfort, a Dutch mobile operator. Telfort was at that moment owned by O2. In 2003 a group of investors incl. aan de Stegge and his business partner bought out O2 and became the owner of Telfort. The group sold the company successfully for € 1 billion in 2005 to the incumbent, KPN. Aan de Stegge currently acts as an informal investor and sits in the Sharewire board.
Mr. Zekveld is partner at Main Capital. In 2007 Main Capital invested € 1.2 million in Sharewire. Zekveld brings over 15 years of venture capital and private equity experience in the European information technology market, both as investment professional and later as informal investor. He co-founded and co-headed the Technology Investments team of AlpInvest Partners, building an impressive track record in with investments in companies like No Wires Needed, Oskar Mobile, MetrixLab and many others. Prior to AlpInvest, Paul worked as an investment analyst in the European IT team of Atlas Venture, one of Europe's first and highly successful technology venture capital firms. The past couple of years Zekveld was CFO at Q-go, a fast growing venture capital backed software company active in the market of online natural language search technology. As partner of Main Capital Zekveld holds a board seat in Sharewire.
Mr. van Duyn is an informal investor with lots of experience in building up early stage companies. In 2004 he took, together with his partners, the initiative to participate as the seed funder in Sharewire. Van Duyn comes from a very strong entrepreneurial background. In the 80's and 90's he has built more than one ICT company into a successful business and was able to sell these companies to blue chip enterprises like Getronics. He held board seats in companies such as Airspray and Interxion and currently sits in the board of Sharewire.
